Description

N-Desthiobiotin-N-bis(PEG4-acid) is a reagent grade PEG linker with two carboxylic acid groups and desthiobiotin, a modified form of biotin that bonds to streptavidin, avidin, and other biotin-binding protein-based affinity columns and is recognized by anti-biotin antibodies. The terminal carboxylic acid reacts with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (EDC, HATU, etc).
