Polymer-based Drug Delivery Service

Your Satisfaction in Polymer-based Drug Delivery Is Our Commitment Service

CD BioGlyco is dedicated to delivering exceptional polymer-based drug delivery services to our valued clients. With a strong focus on efficiency and reliability, we strive to meet the diverse needs of pharmaceutical companies and researchers worldwide. Our GlycoCLICK™-based Drug Delivery Service covers a wide range of innovative and cutting-edge materials in the field of polymers, including polysaccharide dendrimer, hyaluronic acid (HA), and tetrazine-modified biopolymer.

To begin with, we select the appropriate polymer material based on biocompatibility, degradability, and drug-carrying capacity. Subsequently, the drug is covalently or non-covalently bound to the polymer through our GlycoCLICK™ technology to achieve stable embedding in the polymer. To achieve precise control of the release rate, we adjust the degree of polymerization, cross-linking, and pore structure to tailor the properties of the carrier and characterize and evaluate the drug delivery system during the construction process. Finally, after completion of the construction, we perform in vitro and in vivo experiments to verify the physiological compatibility of the system, efficient targeted delivery, and long-lasting stable release.

Results: This paper focuses on the application of biodegradable polymers in drug delivery systems, including natural polymers including arginine, chitosan, dextran, polysaccharides, polyglycolic acid, polylactic acid, and HA, among others, and synthetic polymers including poly(hydroxyethylmethacrylate), poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), poly(ethyleneimine), dendritic polymers, biodegradable, and absorbable polymers. These polymers are biocompatible, degradable, and modifiable and can be used to prepare various drug delivery systems such as nanoparticles, microspheres, and hydrogels. These systems can control the rate, time, and location of drug release and improve the safety and efficacy of drugs. In addition, these polymers can be used to prepare biodegradable implants, such as sutures and bone repair materials.

Applications

  • Surface properties of polymers (e.g., additional targeting ligands) are used to achieve targeted drug delivery by modification of the polymers, thereby increasing the drug effect and reducing the toxic effects on normal tissues.
  • Specific designed polymers are used to change their structure under specific conditions and alter their structure to achieve slow or timed release of drugs.
  • Polymeric materials are not only used for drug delivery but are also widely used as scaffolding materials to promote the repair and regeneration of damaged tissues, such as skin, bone, and heart tissue.

Advantages

  • The polymers we use can be biodegraded and absorbed in the body, reducing potential toxicity and side effects on the human body.
  • Polymer-based drug delivery systems have the potential to enhance drug safety and efficacy through precise control over the rate, timing, and site of drug release.
  • These polymers can be structurally and chemically modified to perform a variety of functions such as enhancing drug stability, improving drug solubility, and increasing drug bioavailability.
