Properties
Description
Amino-PEG4-CH2CO2H is a PEG linker that contains an amino group and ends with a carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in water-based solutions. The amino group can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyls (such as ketones and aldehydes). The terminal carboxylic acid can form a stable amide bond when reacted with primary amine groups in the presence of activators.
