Description
Propargyl-PEG4-(CH2)3-acid is a reagent grade linker containing a propargyl group at one end and a carboxylic acid at the other end. The propargyl group forms a linkage with the azide group of biomolecules under the catalyzation of copper. The carboxylic acid reacts with amine groups in the presence of activators (EDC, HATU, etc).
Applications
Propargyl-PEG4-(CH2)3-acid allows for click chemistry applications, especially in bioconjugation and labeling drugs or biomolecules. The presence of a carboxylic acid group supports further functionalization, making it suitable for a variety of therapeutic or diagnostic applications.
