Description
Acid-PEG4-sulfone-PEG4-acid has two PEG-acid chains connected by a sulfone group. The sulfone group is conjugated with thiol groups of proteins. The terminal carboxylic acid reacts with primary amines in the presence of activators (EDC, HATU, etc). The PEG spacer increases water solubility.
