Description
Tos-PEG5-CH2CO2H is a reagent grade PEG linker with a terminal carboxylic acid and a tosyl group. The PEG spacer increases water solubility. The tosyl group is used for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The terminal carboxylic acid reacts with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (EDC, HATU, etc).
