Properties
Description
ACRL-PCL(10k)-PEG(2k)-ALK is a heterobifunctional biodegradable block copolymer containing PCL and PEG blocks. The terminal alkyne reacts with azide moiety in the presence of Cu catalyst or with cyclooctyne, such as DBCO or BCN to form a stable triazole bond.
Molecular Weight
PCL(10 kDa), PEG(2 kDa)
Functional Group 1
Acrylate
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
ACRL-PCL(10k)-PEG(2k)-ALK forms nanoparticles or nanostructures by self-assembly and surface modification using alkyne functional groups. It plays an important role in the development of functionalized materials, delivery of active molecules and development of biosensors
