Properties
Description
PCL(10k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a polymer with both hydrophobic (polycaprolactone/PCL) and hydrophilic (PEG) blocks. The terminal alkyne reacts with azide moiety in the presence of Cu catalyst or with cyclooctyne, such as DBCO or BCN to form a stable triazole bond.
Molecular Weight
PCL(10 kDa), PEG(5 kDa)
Functional Group 1
Alkyne
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
PCL(10k)-PEG(5k)-ALK can be used to engineer bioactive liposomes by click-attaching azide-lipids to the alkyne group.
