Properties
Description
PCL(2k)-PEG(2k)-ALK is a micelle-forming polymer with hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) tethered to a hydrophilic PEG. The terminal alkyne reacts with azide moiety in the presence of Cu catalyst or with cyclooctyne, such as DBCO or BCN to form a stable triazole bond.
Molecular Weight
PCL(2 kDa), PEG(2 kDa)
Functional Group 1
Alkyne
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
PCL(2k)-PEG(2k)-ALK can be used for material functionalization by reacting with other functional groups through click chemistry, etc., so as to modify the surface of the material covalently or non-covalently and adjust the properties and functions of the material.
