Properties
Description
PCL(3k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a biocompatible and amphiphilic block copolymer which is reactive with azide molecule in the presence of copper catalyst to form a triazole bond. The polymer can form micelles in water where the polycaprolactone (PCL) (at the core) is shielded by the PEG (shell).
Molecular Weight
PCL(3 kDa), PEG(5 kDa)
Functional Group 1
Alkyne
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
PCL(3k)-PEG(5k)-ALK clicks chemically with other molecules to realize coupling or modification of molecules, thus designing carriers with specific functions.
