Properties
Description
Amino-PEG4-t-Boc-hydrazide acts as a PEG linker featuring both an amino group and a Boc-protected hydrazide moiety. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility when placed into aqueous media. The amine group exhibits reactivity towards carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyls (including ketones and aldehydes). Similar to other products, the Boc protecting group can be removed under mild acidic conditions to form a reactive hydrazide that may couple with various carbonyl compounds afterward.
