Description
N-(amine-PEG23)-N-bis(PEG3-azide) functions as a PEG reagent featuring a terminal amine along with two azide groups. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer improves solubility in water-based media. The azide groups can react though click chemistry with alkynes, BCN, or DBCO to form stable triazole linkages. Furthermore, the amino group can interact with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyl compounds (ketones and aldehydes).
