Description
N-(amine-PEG23)-N-bis(PEG3-azide) TFA salt is a branched PEG compound that is soluble in water, featuring an amino group along with two azide groups. The amino functionality can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyls (such as ketones and aldehydes). The azide groups are capable of reacting with alkyne-containing compounds or biomolecules through copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne click chemistry to form stable triazole linkages.
Applications
It can be used in the development of advanced therapeutics, such as antibody-drug conjugates or nucleic acid delivery systems. The TFA (trifluoroacetic acid) salt form may facilitate handling and purification during synthesis.
