Properties
Description
t-Boc-aminooxy-PEG5-azide represents a PEG5 derivative characterized by an azide moiety along with a Boc-protected amino group. It reacts readily with alkyne compounds like BCN or DBCO through click chemistry techniques to yield stable triazole formations. The Boc protecting group can be removed under mild acidic conditions to produce free amines. Furthermore, the hydrophilic nature of the PEG spacer increases solubility in water-based environments.
