Description

The t-Boc-N-amido-PEG24-acid is a PEG linker with a terminal carboxylic acid and Boc-protected amino group. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in water-based solutions. The terminal carboxylic acid can form a stable amide bond with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU). The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to release the free amine. This product is reagent grade and intended for research purposes.
