Properties
Description
Azide-PEG5-c18-t-butyl ester functions as a PEG linker characterized by its steric acid tail along with a terminal azide group. Stearic acid represents a saturated long-chain fatty acid comprising an 18-carbon backbone. The azide moiety will react through click chemistry with DBCO, BCN, or other alkyne groups. Moreover, the presence of the PEG spacer improves solubility in aqueous solutions.
