Properties
Description
Azido-PEG9-alcohol acts as a crosslinker suitable for click chemistry applications due to its azide group paired with a terminal hydroxyl group. The hydrophilic nature of the PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous solutions. Similar to other products mentioned earlier, its azide can react with alkynes such as BCN or DBCO via click chemistryleading to stable triazole linkages being formed. Furthermore, the hydroxyl group allows for additional derivatization or substitution by other reactive functional groups.
