Azido-PEG5-CH2CO2H serves as a water-soluble PEG linker featuring an azide group. Similar to other products, its azide moiety can engage in reactions through click chemistry with alkyne compounds like BCN or DBCO resulting in stable triazole formations. The terminal carboxylic acid also has the ability to react with primary amines in conjunction with activators (e.g., EDC or HATU) to produce stable amides.
