Properties
Description
Azido-PEG7-acid is a widely used PEG reagent that features an azide group along with a terminal carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic nature of the PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous solutions. This azide can react with alkynes, BCN, or DBCO through click chemistry to form stable triazole linkages. Additionally, the terminal carboxylic acid can interact with primary amine groups when activated by agents such as EDC or HATU to create stable amide bonds.
