Properties
Description
N-(acid-PEG10)-N-bis(PEG10-azide) is a widely used PEG reagent that includes one terminal carboxylic acid and two azide groups. The hydrophilic nature of the PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous solutions. Similar to previous products mentioned, these azides can react with alkynes, BCN, and DBCO through click chemistry processes leading to stable triazole linkages. Furthermore, the terminal carboxylic acid can also react with primary amines when activated by agents like EDC or HATU to form durable amide bonds.
