Description

Azido-PEG3-Maleimide is supplied as a kit consisting of two components. It is not stable for long-term storage and must be prepared in situ by combining azido-PEG3-amine with maleimide-NHS ester, followed by shaking or stirring for 30 minutes at room temperature. The maleimide moiety in azido-PEG3-maleimide can react with thiol groups to form covalent bonds, facilitating the attachment of biomolecules containing thiols.
