Properties
Description
Azido-PEG5-succinimidyl carbonate consists of a PEG linker that includes active azide and succinimidyl carbonate functionalities. The azide can undergo copper-catalyzed click chemistry reactions involving alkynes, DBCO, and BCN. Meanwhile, succinimidyl carbonate acts as an effective leaving group that commonly reacts with amine nucleophiles. With five units of PEG included, this compound's water solubility is enhanced.
