Properties
Description
Azido-PEG9-NHS ester is a PEG9 compound that incorporates both azide and NHS ester functionalities. The hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous solutions. The azide group can react with alkyne compounds such as BCN and DBCO through click chemistry methods, resulting in stable triazole linkages. Additionally, the NHS ester is suitable for labeling primary amines t-found in proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing substances.
