Properties
Description
pAsp(3k)-PEG(5k)-azide is a linear amphiphilic block copolymer comprised of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and poly(L-Aspartic acid) (pAsp). The hydrophilic PEG increases solubility in aqueous media. Terminal azides undergo copper-catalyzed click chemistry with alkynes, DBCO and BCN.
Molecular Weight
pAsp(3 kDa), PEG(5 kDa)
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
pAsp(3k)-PEG(5k)-azide can be used in bioconjugation and molecule delivery applications due to its biocompatibility and ability to facilitate click chemistry reactions.
