Properties
Description
Hyaluronic acid MW 1,000,000 is comprised of hyaluronic acid which is functionalized with a terminal carboxylic acid, through an amide bond. Hyaluronic acid is the most abundant glycosaminoglycan in the body with many applications. The terminal carboxylic acid reacts with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g., EDC or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
