Properties
Description
t-Boc-N-amido-PEG-CH2COOH is an amine protected polydisperse PEG. The carboxylic acid is reactive with amine in the presence of activating agent, such as EDC or HATU. The tert-butoxycarbon-based protecting group (t-boc) can be easily removed under acidic conditions to produce a free amine, which is then reacted with NHS.
