Properties
Description
PCL(1k)-PEG(5k)-COOH is an amphiphile block copolymer with carboxylic acid terminal group. The carboxyl group and the amine react in the presence of an activator (e.g., HATU/EDC) to form an amide bond. The polycaprolactone (PCL) is biodegradable via hydrolysis on the ester bonds.
