Description
N-Me-N-bis(PEG4-t-butyl ester) is a reagent grade PEG linker with a t-butyl ester and a methylamine group. The PEG spacer increases water solubility. The methylamine group is reactive with carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde), carboxylic acids, etc. Under acidic conditions, the t-butyl-protected carboxyl group is deprotected.
