Properties
Description
Mono-sulfone acts as a thiol-specific labeling agent that undergoes alkylation to form thioether bonds between proteins and mono-sulfone activated reagents. Once conjugated to a protein or peptide, this mono-sulfone reagent minimizes the risk of exchange reactions leading to deconjugation when treated with mild reducing agents, similar to processes used in reductive amination conjugations.
