Properties
Description
N-(NHS ester-PEG3)-N-bis(PEG3-Mal) contains NHS ester-PEG3 and bis(PEG3-Mal) groups. The NHS ester enables conjugation with amine groups, and the Mal (maleimide) groups can react with thiol groups. The PEG chains increase solubility and provide flexibility. It is often used in the design of bioconjugates, especially for targeted drug delivery and protein modification. The multiple reactive groups offer possibilities for complex conjugation strategies.
