Properties
Description
PEI-b(2k)-mPEG(1k) is an amphiphilic block copolymer consists of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and poly(ethylene imine) (PEI). The hydrophilic PEG increases solubility in aqueous media. The reactive hydroxyl group is used for further modification.
Molecular Weight
PEI-b(2 kDa), mPEG(1 kDa)
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
PEI-b(2k)-mPEG(1k) can be used to prepare biosensors that interact with biomolecules (e.g., proteins, nucleic acids) through its cationic properties, enabling the detection and analysis of biomolecules.
